LIVINGSTON, Ala.--The University of West Alabama will hold a memorial service for Dr. David W. Bowen, former professor and chairman of the UWA Department of History and Social Sciences, Wednesday, Aug. 27 at 2 p.m. in the Bell Conference Center. Bowen, who joined the UWA faculty in 1980, died July 15 in an automobile accident.
