LIVINGSTON, Ala.—Ten students from Alabama and Mississippi will vie Friday, Feb. 2 for the title of Miss University of West Alabama. The annual public program to select a campus representative to the Miss Alabama Pageant in Birmingham begins at 7 p.m. in Bibb Graves Auditorium. Admission is free.

The contestants include (by hometown):

ELLISVILLE, Miss.—Sophomore nursing major Stefanie Gatlin.

GALLION—Freshman nursing major Savanna Joy Dickson.

GILBERTOWN—Freshman natural science and mathematics major Jessica Tucker.

GORDO—Junior education major Stacy Holman.

GREENSBORO—Senior business major Candi Naylor; and sophomore education major Alicia Sewell.

JACKSON—Sophomore education major Stevi Bolen.

MOBILE—Sophomore liberal arts major Vi Green.

NORTHPORT—Sophomore nursing major Mahalia Gray.

TUSCALOOSA—Sophomore natural science and mathematics major Britney Sweeney.
