Student Government Association officers elected

 LIVINGSTON, Ala.—In a recent online election, University of West Alabama students selected several of their peers to serve as leaders in the Student Government Association. The officers were sworn in at the annual Student Life Banquet held last week.

 

Danielle Buckalew of Livingston was elected Student Government Association President. A senior majoring in English and business, she is the daughter of Danny Buckalew and Tim and Beverly Conway.

 

Jamie Parker of Selma was chosen as Vice-President. A junior majoring in mathematics education, he is the son of Barbara Parker and the late James F. Parker Jr.

 

James Nicholson of Nictown was elected Business Manager. A senior business administration major, he is the son of James E. Nicholson and Linnie Nicholson.

 

Kelly Sheehan of Orrville was selected as Secretary. A junior majoring in history and sociology/social work, she is the daughter of William and Lisa Sheehan.

 

Kaylan McDuff of Moundville was named Attorney General. A junior accounting major, he is the son of Lucy and Buddy McDuff.

 

Casey Smith of Cordova was selected to be the STARS Coordinator for the campus. A sophomore majoring in English education, she is the daughter of Lisa and Tim Sims.
