Student Government Association officers elected

LIVINGSTON, Ala.—University of West Alabama students recently selected several of their peers to serve as Student Government Association leaders for the 2007-08 school year.

 


Gray

Mahalia Gray of Northport was elected Student Government Association president. A sophomore majoring in nursing, she is the daughter of Steve and Paula Gray. Gray previously served as Phi Mu representative as a freshman, and she is fulfilling her term as the current School of Nursing senator.


Gracie

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Donmonique Gracie of Gallion was chosen as SGA vice president. A sophomore English language arts major, she is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Gracie Sr. She served as freshman senator, sophomore senator and business manager prior to election as vice president. 

 


Cross

Coty Cross of Andalusia was elected SGA secretary. A senior English language arts major, she is the daughter of Jack A. Cross III and Debra Taylor. The current SGA attorney general, Cross previously served as both a representative and a senator.

 


Smith

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Casey Smith of Cordova will serve as SGA business manager. A sophomore majoring in English language arts education, she is the daughter of Tim and Lisa Sims. Smith served as a freshman senator, and she currently serves as STARS coordinator for the campus.
