LIVINGSTON,
Ala.--The
University of West Alabama will offer a series
of four continuing education courses with a
"Spring Spruce-up" theme beginning Thursday,
March 2, at 6:30 p.m. with a 2-hour, one-night
course in
Spring Planting. The course, taught
by Livingston horticulturist and landscaper Sam
Ledbetter, will be held in Bibb Graves Hall on
the UWA campus. Ledbetter will demonstrate
planting techniques, discuss plant care and
offer individualized advice to participants.
"Spring Spruce-up"
will continue the following three weeks on
Thursday nights. The series includes one-night
courses on
Increasing the Value of Your Home,
Arranging Cut
Flowers and
Basic Interior
Design. Tuition for the courses is
$10 per class, or $30 for all four classes. To
