Five Tiger athletic teams will be competing that day, including four Gulf South Conference games on the diamond.

“We want to invite all of our great Tiger fans to join us on Super Tiger Day here at UWA,” Brophy said. “We hope to make this an annual event where people of all ages who love our university can come and cheer for our teams while visiting with one another. I hope it will eventually grow into a mini-homecoming in years to come.”

The day begins at 11 a.m. with the UWA men’s and women’s tennis teams competing against Transylvania University at the Howard R. Vaughan Tennis Complex. At the newly renovated UWA Softball Complex, the Tigers will host the University of Alabama in Huntsville in a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
