Ala.—Are
you interested in real estate sales? How about
traveling to the birthplace of the Olympic Games?
The University of West Alabama’s Division of
Continuing Education, which offers a variety
personal and professional development courses,
announces two new learning opportunities to
accommodate these desires.
Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 3, UWA will offer a
pre-license real estate sales course in Demopolis.
The class, which fulfills the 60-hour pre-license
coursework required by the Alabama Real Estate
Commission, will prepare students for the state
licensing exam. Classes will meet Tuesdays and
Thursdays, Oct. 3 through Dec. 7, from 6-9:30 p.m.
at the ASCC-University Center in room 120. Tuition
is $400 for the nine-week course.
UWA alumni and friends also have the chance to tour
the wonders of Greece May 10-18, 2007. The eight
day/seven night trip includes stops in Athens,
Delphi, Olympia and several Greek islands.
Round-trip airfare, breakfasts, dinners and local
English-speaking tour guides are included in the
tour. The cost is $3250 for double occupancy and
$3525 for single occupancy. A $750 deposit is due
Jan. 5, 2007, with the remaining balance due March
23, 2007.
