Are you interested in real estate sales? How about traveling to the birthplace of the Olympic Games? The University of West Alabama’s Division of Continuing Education, which offers a variety personal and professional development courses, announces two new learning opportunities to accommodate these desires.

Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 3, UWA will offer a pre-license real estate sales course in Demopolis. The class, which fulfills the 60-hour pre-license coursework required by the Alabama Real Estate Commission, will prepare students for the state licensing exam. Classes will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays, Oct. 3 through Dec. 7, from 6-9:30 p.m. at the ASCC-University Center in room 120. Tuition is $400 for the nine-week course.

UWA alumni and friends also have the chance to tour the wonders of Greece May 10-18, 2007. The eight day/seven night trip includes stops in Athens, Delphi, Olympia and several Greek islands. Round-trip airfare, breakfasts, dinners and local English-speaking tour guides are included in the tour. The cost is $3250 for double occupancy and $3525 for single occupancy.
