GEE'S
BEND QUILT EXHIBIT--The
University of West Alabama is currently housing
an exhibition of 10 Gee's Bend quilts from the
collection of
Dr. Geraldine Watts
Bell. "From My
Hands: Quilt Creations by Gee’s Bend’s Polly
Bennett” will be on display in Webb
Hall Gallery, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. until
Dec. 14. Pictured in front of a Double Wedding Ring
quilt, Bell visited with U. S. Jones Elementary School
students, some of the many students who enjoyed
Bell's presentation and tour of the exhibit. (Sept.
