Tucker selected to lead College of Business--The
University of West Alabama recently announced Dr.
Ken Tucker’s appointment as professor of management
and dean of the College of Business. He has most
recently served as interim director of the
University’s Regional Center for Community and
Economic Development.

compete at National Rodeo Finals--Members
of the University of West Alabama rodeo team
competed in the College National Rodeo Finals at the
Casper Events Center in Casper, Wyoming June 10
through June 16.

| Four-man scramble planned for Aug. 3 in
Tuscaloosa--The Tuscaloosa Alumni
Chapter and the UWA Volleyball
team will host a four-man scramble golf tournament
Friday, Aug. 3 at the Tuscaloosa Country Club. The
entry fee is $300 per team. Registration begins at
noon with a 1 p.m. tee time. Prizes include Nike
drivers, putters and golf bags, Adidas apparel and
more. Proceeds from the tournament will help support
the UWA Volleyball team and the Tuscaloosa Credit
Union UWA Scholarship. For more information, contact
