Theatre presents "The Fourth Wall"--UWA

| UWA scholar awarded SACS grant--Denys
Lupshenyauk, an Edmund S. Muskie Graduate Fellow
studying at The University of West Alabama, has
received one of only nine grants given to graduate
students in postsecondary education in the Southern
region to attend the Southern Association of
Colleges and Schools-Commission on Colleges annual
meeting.

Exhibition--The University of
West Alabama introduces the fifth installment of the
UWA Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition, with four new
sculptures already in place on the Livingston campus
and two more to be added in the spring.

Tigers
conclude winning season--The
University of West Alabama finished 6-5 with a 45-3
loss to in-state and conference rival North Alabama
Saturday at Tiger Stadium.

University of West Alabama men’s basketball team
opens the 2006-07 season, as the Tigers host
Southern of New Orleans, Nov. 15 for a 7:30 p.m.

Women's basketball wraps up three games in six
days--Despite playing without
Ashton Washington, who missed the final exhibition
game because of a death in the family, UWA wrapped
up three games in six days with a 71-46 loss to
Jacksonville State at Pete Mathews Coliseum.
