University of West Alabama will celebrate homecoming
in Livingston Oct. 22-25, with a variety of exciting
events planned to honor alumni of the 1970s and
1980s.

Water Festival educates, entertains local
fourth-graders--The
University of West Alabama will host more than 500
fourth-graders Tuesday, Oct. 21, for the sixth
annual Sumter/Marengo Water Festival. The students
from Marengo and Sumter county schools will
participate in classroom sessions and hands-on
activities focusing on groundwater, the hydrologic
cycle and the importance of water to all life.

pair of Arkansas at Monticello fourth quarter
touchdowns was the difference in the University of

Invite--The University of West
Alabama volleyball team closed out the Arkansas Tech
Invitational with a pair of 3-0 sweeps against
Arkansas at Monticello and Southeastern Oklahoma
State on Saturday.

pre-season practice on Wednesday, Oct. 15 in
preparation for the 2008-2009 season.

will honor alumni of the 1970s and 1980s at
Homecoming 2008 festivities on Oct. 24-25. Plans
include the annual Friday night party at the Moon
House and Saturday's parade, NAA meeting, reunions,
awards and more. The Tigers will face West Georgia
in a 5 p.m. matchup at Tiger Stadium. Come home to
Livingston!

a.m.-5 p.m. for your Red & White gameday gear. The
Bookstore, located in the SUB, will feature 15
